wouldnt disengage the fan for 2 or 3 seconds after throttle was opened, killed acceleration on 5.7 hemi truck

Clutch sticks at startup
I'm not sure if it's normal operation, though I doubt it, but the fan clutch always sticks and start up and roars until I get it up to about 3k RPM. After that, it works as expected and the engine quiets down. I haven't found a better aftermarket solution than this one, but do NOT buy the heavy duty clutch fan unless you like the sound of roaring at all times.
