What a book
I couldn't put this book down after starting it. It's such an incredible story about pain, determination, strength, betrayal, and love. Jasper had everything he wanted after years of floating from one woman to the next. All he's waiting for now is for his wife Abby to tell him she's pregnant. What he gets in return is to find Abby cheating with a co-worker. After filing for divorce, Jasper goes back to his old ways. He believes he won't get another chance at love after losing his chance at a family with Abby. When Holly came back home for her vacation she never thought about getting involved with a friend of her brother's. Jasper is everything she stays away from but is somehow attracted to him. No matter how many times she tells herself to stay away from Jasper, she can't. As the days go on Holly begins to fall in love with Jasper and she can't do anything about it. Even more, is that Holly finds out she's pregnant and doesn't know how to approach Jasper about it. Will Jasper's wish for love and a family finally come true?

love!
This book is in Jasper’s perspective and it was amazing! Throughout all the books the only thing that bothered me was the repeating of the phrases “what had happened”. Referring to what happened with Oakley. It was a lot of repetition. But I loved these books!

Love the series
Natasha Preston is my favorite author. I read this series years ago and wanted a physical copy of it. It was packaged well and came on time. I recommend this series to everyone!

Excellent book
Players, Bumps, And Cocktail Sausages: Silence Book 3 is by Natasha Preston. It is an excellent book that with the other two books in the series talk about a very sensitive topic, child abuse. However, they talk about it through the emotions and feelings that the victim and family have and how it affects their lives years afterwards. Natasha has a way of telling her story so that you begin to understand how child abuse affects others not just the victim. I do think this book and this series should be widely read.Jasper has taken a job with The Centre which is now owned and run by his sister Oakley. She had set it up as a place people of all ages could come to renew their lives through exercise, sports, the arts, and gymnastics. After her ordeal, gymnastics had a big part in keeping her sane and then through her recovery. Oakley and Cole have a daughter, Everleigh, who is now three and Oakley and Jasper have set their schedules to allow for one of them to be with Everleigh at all times. Jasper took his babysitting role seriously and he was one of the few Oakley allowed to care for her daughter. It was one of their ways of coping. Abby, Jasper’s wife, accepted his role in Everleigh’s life and enjoyed having her spend time with them. Jasper thought he should be happy now that he and Abby were back together; but things hadn’t been right lately. She had started going out with her school friends more often and had found excuses not to have sex with him. Jasper just thought she was acting different lately. Now she had stated she didn’t want a baby for at least a year. Jasper knew how important her career was to her and though he didn’t like it, accepted it. However, his suspicions began growing and taking him down the road that would soon, if not stopped, take him to her cheating on him again. After breaking up with her when they were teens because she cheated on him, he had forgiven her; but had not forgotten. She knew he would never trust her again if she cheated again. Jasper still had issues with his Father and his actions with Oakley which acerbated his temperament and his mistrust of people. Is Abby cheating on him? If so, how will he handle it? Will Jasper ever reconcile his problems with his Father? Will he ever take Oakley’s advice and see a counselor?

Awesome book!
I would have to say out of the whole series, this was my favorite book. I always liked Jasper in the other books so I felt it was great that he got his very own storyline to say the least.. There was a certain amount of twists that left you wanting to read more. The grammar in this book got a lot better, but the reason why I gave it only 4 stars was because there was no separation from each section in the chapters. So for instance, it would be the end of one section and would immediately jump to a different day and scenario. You would almost have to decipher where each section ended and began. The tone in this book also made you really feel like you knew the characters. I hated Abby, but loved Holly. So the book really made you feel like you were living these issues with them. I enjoyed the previous two books as well, and even though they got a ton of slack from some reviewers, I would still recommend them to anybody. I was glad that this book in the series drifted apart from the issues from the second and first book and had a different tone to it. I felt like the visit between Jasper and his father could have been a little longer. I would have liked to see more with that section, but I knew it wasn't going to be as dramatic as I would have liked it only because I was already at 98% of the book. All in all it was a great read. I'm not sure why everybody gets on the "language" the authors uses in these books. Considering the issues in the first two books were real life scenarios that could happen, I like books to be as "real" as possible (obviously if it's fiction or sci-fi it won't be as close to real) but as close to real life as possible. And given Jasper's character I felt the language suited the novel. I plan on reading more from this author as it is a great book.

The story of Jasper this followed on from Silence and the story of Oakleigh and Cole
This book was so easy to read, I have read Natasha Preston's other books Silence and Broken Silence this one follows on and is the story of Jasper Oakley's brother I could not put down, it answers questions and I have to say is not as sad as her other and still a really good read and it answered questions from her other two books. There were a few typo's but a good read overall I could not put down, and a very happy ending which was so nice as her other books left me on tears!Personally I would read her other two books before reading this one, it was nice to read that Oakleigh and jasper are getting better I don't want to give away the story, but it is really sad, this book is not as intense a little sad on places as Jasper is also angry confused and upset but a truly happy ending

Excellent
This is the 3rd instalment in the silence set. I must say they get better as the series goes on. This one has a lot of funny laugh out loud remarks in it. This is another one I didn't want to put down. I would recommend reading them in order

Pleased I read this....
I read the first two books to this sequel a month or so before reading this, . Only because I didn't know there was a third one in the series. Despite the wait between reading it (I normally like to read sequels start after each other) it was easy to catch up with the characters and remember who was who etc. This book was a lot more light hearted than the other two and much more predictable....but that's ok as for me the other two were great but veered on being sad and I like a story to end well and have a certain amount of 'fluffiness' to it.....I'm pleased the other two weren't as predictable though as I doubt I'd have read them if so but with having read them first I felt I needed to read this and to know the ending, I can't see there being a fourth as not sure where they could go with it.

Need More
I loved this book, but it was way too short. I would recommend reading the first two books in the series to fully understand the characters, but I think this could also be read alone. Like the previous books there were a few silly mistakes with grammar. There is a lot of swearing too but I can understand why it is there, and I think is the reason for the 18+ recommendation, as even though there are many references to sex, there is only really one instance of it and that isn't overly described. I have already downloaded the next and so far last book in the series and can't wait to get stuck into it.

Love jasper
Jaspers turn, such a sensitive soul deep down, we've read about his 'conquests' in the previous books but this one really tells us about the real jasper!Definitely a great read with a couple of twists and turns, a new character Holly proves to be popular with Oakley & the rest of her family!I understand jasper now more than ever and love the way he was portrayed in previous book to then end up telling us about who he really is!Go on read it!
