If you like the smell of walking through a grove of lime trees,if you think the most important component of a gin and tonic is the lime or if you simply just like the smell of freshly cut limes,then this is the soap for you. Most lime soaps smell very synthetic -not this soap. It is perhaps the most 'limiest' smelling soap I have encountered and the aroma remains till the last sliver of soap .

Love the smell. I I give the soap a 5 star ratingl. Shipping makes it unreasonable. I spent almost 10. on this bar. I can't say that the soap was worth that.Vendor needs to find a better way..

A good soap, but not my favorite lime fragrance. A bit too sweet smelling for me, but a well made soap. A bit pricey compared to similar soaps.

This would be a five star soap if I had never tried Caswell Massey's lime soap, which they stopped making a year ago. This is an excellent replacement. The feel of the bar and lather is not quite as nice as the CM, and I can still get verbena from them, but that's just not the same either. And CM soap costs nearly 3 times as much. So, this is an excellent bargain in luxury soap.The lime smell is excellent. It's very refreshing in the shower, even a little pleasantly intense, but it doesn't stay on your skin when you rinse off, which is a good thing...I don't need to smell like pie all day. The lather is maybe a little less than I'd like but very thick and silky smooth, which is nice. The feel of the bar is just a little bit tacky unless you get it very wet but I'm OK with that.I look forward to trying the other varieties.
