This is a thick and quality made T-shirt. The fit of this shirt is as expected for any normal T-shirt. It is a tad bit wider than other T-shirts, but not noticeable. Also the print on the shirt is a little different than what is shown. It still looks like the same print; however, because the shirt is a little larger the print looks much smaller in comparison to the shirt. My boyfriend loves this shirt though and is very pleased with the way that it fits and the saying that is on the shirt. He is always working on cars and likes more of the unrestored look of things so this is a perfect match for him. This is a very nice shirt. Soft thick cotton. It is a high quality t-shirt. The message is perfectly funny. Everyone that sees it wants to get one that fits the year of their birth. Makes a great gift. I also got one from a different year and it is also the same high quality t-shirt. The lettering is also high quality, and I'm sure with last a nice long time. In fact when I think about it, as the years go by wearing this shirt and when the lettering does eventually start to fade, it will still be funny. It will convey the message even better as we get older.This makes a great gift. Sometimes gifts that are for jokes or slight gags, are very cheesy and junky. Really not practical after the laugh you get from them. This one however will bring years of practicality. I mean who doesn't like a nice quality t-shirt???I know mostly it is meant as a gift, but buy one for yourself too. We can be proud of how old we are. We can own it. Nothing is hotter than confidence. Besides if we don't want to own our age, you can always buy one that makes you younger. While I like some of the t-shirts with the specific year on them for specific birthdays, I think the shirts with just the decades on them are a better idea overall since they are good for a wider range of people; even guys can be somewhat sensitive about their age!The t-shirt is a standard loose fit tee, good for guys up to around 6'0" with some room at the bottom so your belly isn't exposed, even when you raise your arms over your head. The t-shirt isn't the softest, but after a run in the washing machine on warm/cold and tumble dry low (with heat), it did shrink about 5-10%, which wasn't a big deal for us as it fit a little baggy upon arrival. Be mindful of that.The appliqué is heat transferred and didn't shrink or pull the fabric upon laundering, though I'd recommend turning the article of clothing inside out before laundering to ensure optimal quality over the lifetime of the shirt.Overall, it's a great novelty t-shirt and the design is stylish and simple.I received a discount on this product in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.

I bought this shirt as a gag gift for myself. It was a little joke between my wife and I. This is great well made shirt. All of the stitching is of top quailty. It is a Guilden 100% cotton. I usually wear a large A shirt or T-shirt. Sometimes a medium will fit me depending on brand. I am 5'6 and 185 lbs and my dress shirt is 16 by 32/33. So you can tell from the picture of size comparison. The shirt is a little smaller than I would have liked but fits me well enough. It feels like a fitted to slim fit shirt. It is tighter in the stomach area then some other t-shirts. So if you have a bit of a belly you might want to order an XL.The printing on the shirt is very good. Have only washed it once so not sure how well the text will hold up over time and wear. I liked the shirt and my wife laughed when she seen it. We both loved the 80's and this t-shirt. Seen this and just had to get it for my son. The shirt came in a lot sooner then i expected and was packaged neatly and securely. I am really pleased with the material and strength of the stitching of the tee-shirt. The lettering is iron on but looked really nice. Iron on is fine if you wash it correctly. My son absolutely loved it and asked if i could get some more. Gave him the company name. It is not one of those 2 dollar t-shirts its way more durable then most. I would totally recommend these to anyone who loves fun shirts and likes nicely made tee-shirts. I washed it for him and it washed up great no fading and i lined dried that did not dry stiff and hard. I will be looking to purchase more from this company. i was born in 1985 so this shirt was great since I recently turned 30. I finally came to terms with that fact that im 30 and im proud of it. This shirt is funny and would make a great gift. The Tshirt is comfy and fit just as i had expected it to. I am a size small and the shirt i got was small it fit fine. the material is average like a normal tee shirt, i washed it regualr wash cycle with like colors and it dryed it in the dryer it came out fine and the decal on the shirt staied in tact without any issues at all. ***I recieved this product at a discount price in exchange for my honest and unbiased review, the opinions shared here are mine and mine alone***
