As someone who lives in a tiny New York apartment, I wanted a coffee grinder that performs well, not an eyesore and does not take up precious counter space. Like many, I fall into the category of “selective with coffee, but not a connoisseur.” If you fall under this category and prioritize a grinder that takes up little counter space/can easily be stored in a cabinet while performing its one basic function well—purchase this.I spent a good deal of time reading Wirecutter reviews for best coffee grinders and my conclusion is this: At 6am, my brain does not want a pretentious coffee grinder that has too many options. To be fair, I wouldn’t want that many options at any given time. This coffee grinder has one basic function which is enough for most. To those that say this product is difficult to clean—most appliances with blades are. Sound wise—it’s as loud as any grinder. Like your coffee beans coarse or fine? That’s on you to decide by however long you press on the button. I personally feel like this gives me more control over coarseness.Aesthetically speaking, this grinder is super cute and I’m into the color.

I like the fact that this coffee grinder has room to grind more than a 12 cup capacity. I like my coffee on the stronger side, so I always grind a little more than a 112 cup limit, which some other grinders have. It is a very noisy grinder, but I don't mind as it grinds extremely fast. I like the fact that it won't grind unless the lid is securely in past. I might give it 5 stars if it wasn't for the noisy grind.

We’ve had this all of two weeks and hate it. Love the design but the grinder doesn’t work well. You have to wait 10 minutes between grinds for the motor to cool off, otherwise the motor overheats and will not run. If you’re planning to grind a bag of beans it will take awhile so set aside an hour. Not kidding. It even tells you to wait 10 minutes in the enclosed instruction manual. Returning.

My husband had his coffee grinder from his college days, and it was the only thing that I could use because it was the best thing ever. LOLSo I went ahead and purchased this one to grind my herbs, now I have to buy another because he uses it for the coffee. So nice and quiet (you can grind when people are sleeping and not wake them), does a great job! Very easy to clean, big vat to hold a lot of coffee beans. Where have you been all my life is all I needed to know. Haha. Definitely recommend.
