Incense - 120 Incense Sticks, Premium Incense, Masala Coated (Sandalwood)

The product & packaging conditions were excellent. There was some delay in delivery but fine.

There is NO ACTUAL white sage in these incense sticks - highly misleading product name and description, even if technically no flagrant liesIngredients (translated from Spanish, the only language in which the boxes have ingredients and instructions):- bamboo stick [varita de bamboo]- powdered wood [polvo de madera]- carbon en polvo [coal powder]- binder [aglutinante]- aromatic essence (I think this means essential oil AT BEST, which is absolutely not the same as having actual white sage incense.) [esencia aromatic]I now doubt the safety of the incense - if thensellers here are duplicitous in this way, the products seem likely to have poor health and safety standards. Anything to make a quick profit these days :(

I ordered these incens sticks because I didn't want to go through the hassle of burning bundles of real sage every time. Once I received the package and read the ingredients, which were listed in Spanish, none of the listed ingredients actually said anything close to "sage". It also doesn't smell anything like sage, it smells way too much like perfume, and almost like a cleaning product. It's hard to describe but it is very misleading. Also, as a side note, the package has a lot more sage than you think. Please see pictures. Deodorant used for size comparison. I'll be requesting to return.

I usually get different product but this time I decided to try Govinda Incense White Sage , big mistake!The smell doesn't even reminds me of sage, the Sage sticks smell like some cheap mens cologne.I can't use it inside my house I just burn it outside.

I buy all kinds/brands of incense and like to try out new ones. I bought 2 different Govinda scents and they are both cheap smelling and poor quality. Think the stuff you get at Dollar Stores. I received another brand of incense on the same day & the difference is night & day. This smells mostly of burning stick and acrid smoke with a little very fake smelling rose on top. I don’t smell sandalwood at all. Very disappointing, but I’ve tried a bunch of rose incense and can’t find a good one. I’ll stay away from this brand from now on, though.

These smell different than the white sage leaves that I bought previously. But I used these around my house. I though they would be great for smudging but, I'm not sure if these have the same effect. They do smell good, but will not work for what I had originally intended which is sage smudging.Reading the description more closely I see that this is not sage. The description says: Govinda® Incenses are high quality incense sticks made with the finest ingredients available. Each incense sticks has a bamboo core and the final product is lightly coated with pure masala powder. This incense sticks is not to be confused with the other Govinda product of similar name, Govinda Natural White Sage Smudge (dried Salvia apiana plant), which is harvested in the USA.
