Clearly Fabco was listening when they made this fan. It cuts the noise at least in half. Their are many differences from my old fan.The new fan has permanently lubricated bearings the old one didn't. The motor is rubber mounted to the fan housing, not so on the old one. The fan has a metal fan wheel the old one was plastic. The motor cooling fan was moved to the outside of the motor which allows the shaft to be more rigid where it connects to the fan wheel. All of these changes greatly reduce the harmonic vibrations that are unavoidably caused by the control board using a triac to control motor speed. This cheap method of control intentionally causes the motor to be far out of sync with the power frequency. This makes the terrible harmonic vibrations and noise that are heard. I believe the fan manufacturer did all they could to mitigate the noise. If there are any pellet stove manufacturers listening, I believe I am not alone when I say I will pay more for a fan with a digital motor set up the same way Fabco did this one.

Perfect fit and operation. After 7 years, the original convection blower started to squeal and stopped working, this replacment part is upgraded with an oil-less design and a metal blower wheel. Seems to push more air as well. Comes with the gasket and wiring harness for very simple plug and play change out. Less than 10 minutes. The best part is I didn't spend over $200 as listed on other websites, this part works perfect! Thanks!

This is a very good blower. I got it for our VG5790 pellet stove. It works great!!! Helps with over heating. Not as loud as the one that came with it. It just works a lot better!!!!!!!!
