UPDATE 2021: I've used this many times over the past three summers and it still works GREAT! I don't even bother to put it in a waterproof container any more. I leave it on my patio table under the umbrella for weeks at a time. I usually only bring it in to charge it. It has a super long charge. I've worked outside using it for hours at a time. Seems I rarely have to charge it. Great value for the money. Highly recommended. Sound is really great, too.I've only used it a few times but so far it works great and is perfect for my needs: outdoor use with frequent days of 100% humidity. I keep it in a non-waterproof storage container and it hasn't given me any problems. Great sound. So, after reading the not so great reviews I thought the loss of not too much money on this purchase wouldn't bother me. But, so far so good and it's been worth the money spent.

I selected this item because I like to listen to podcasts or music when I shower and wanted something with Bluetooth capability. The price was right and I liked the styling. It charges quickly and holds runs a long time on one charge. It's easy to use and connects to my iPhone easily via Bluetooth. The only drawback is it is necessary to hold the on/off switch to turn on or off, but it's only a minor inconvenience. The sound is really good for music and podcasts. I am really enjoying his device and have used it in the shower, while working in the garage, and playing in the yard with my grandson. .

Purchased 1 of these on December 28, 2016 and a second one on February 8, 2017. The second one's battery has failed 4 months later. The red led and green led do not light up when charging. After attempting to charge it for 24hours and turning it on it will connect to my PC but after about 3 minutes and the green led blinks it beeps twice and turns off. Also, there IS NOT a vendor address and phone number listed on the Manual. No way to contact the vendor to see if it is repairable or returnable. The Boomph quality of the sound was excellent. It connected quickly.

Loved the speaker. Great sound, waterproof, what more could I ask for? And then it started to act up. It would come unpaired from my phone. Eventually, I could not pair at all. I tried everything I found online to fix the problem. Eventually, my phone would not even find the device.Funny thing is, my wife's phone paired to the speaker after all of this. My tablet paired to it as well. My phone also paired with new Bluetooth devices. Don't know what happened or why. Makes me nervous about buying another one.

It crackles often. Especially when I move it while playing. Disconnecting doesn’t help it either, worked great the first few weeks but now I’m lucky if it plays for an hour with out going in and out with the sound or it coming out like a 90s radio

I use it specifically for listening to youtube clip, netflix, and news in my home or office it is an excellent spectacular BLUETOOTH SPEAKER!!!The bass is adequate and balanced for its size (gives the right BOOMPH), but what I like about it is everything is just right. I can listen to it all day long without fatigue for up close: the speaker is about 3 - 10 feet from me. I also like the loudness and the dynamics of it when playing movie from Netflix through my laptop as I exercise (jogging on tread machine). I also like its size, not too big, not too small and you can take it anywhere, very portable.I recommend buying a bike mount for the speaker when riding a bike or ATV for the outdoor ETC.BOTTOM LINE AAAAAAA++++++

I was looking for a sturdy Bluetooth speaker to use while backpacking.I wanted something light weight, long battery life, small, rechargeable with my portable solar panel charger and not easy to break.Since I got an android and my son got an iPhone, it needed it to be compatible with both.I found this speaker which is all of the above and it is also water proof.Cool!
