love these lamps. i got one of every color (not all from the same seller) but i got this one because the glass was clear. it came with a set of little lights & a remote control. my only complaint is the color of the lights is red only- i wish they had multiple colors you could choose from. so i just put those lights into a lantern with red glass & all is well.

With the mixed reviews of these little cheap made-in-china Moroccan lamps I was a bit wary, but when I recieved them I was very happy to find that they are actually quite wonderful! The mishapen and miscut sides are very minor issues which can easily be bent into the proper position if they are particularly noticable, and overall, despite being made cheaply, they feel quite solid! This green one is the only one which had any real problems for me, because the glass panels are a bit small for the frame and they slide around when picked up, however, I think the pattern on this one is a bit nicer than on some of the others, and it's not a carrying kind of lantern anyway, so it is no worse than the others.The metal does look a bit cheap on some of them, but you won't be looking that closely all of the time, and they are best suited as small outdoor (or indoor, on a window sill or with a mix of antique-ish and glassy knick-knacks) where any imperfections will be easily overlooked- I find that if you can see past them they work almost anywhere really. They're small, but not too small- they can easily fit a little tealight or a slightly larger candle if needed (nothing taller than two or three inches though). The yellow glow of the candle mostly overpowers the color of the glass when just sitting in the middle of a table or when hanging, but it does cast a lovelt bright green shape against a close wall or any opaque surafce.As far as shipping goes, this and all of the other lamps I ordered camp nicely packed in little individual boxes, each with a foam circle inside to keep the glass from falling out. There was no damage.Not gorgeously perfect or as charming as the more expensive, genuine, hand-crafted kinf, but for the price, quality and size this lamp and the other colored versions of this lamp are all great deals.

This green lantern is a beautiful emerald color. It arrived securely packed and undamaged. The hinged door was very easy to open. The loop at the top is ample for a chain if you so wish to hang it (I chose to set it down). There is plenty of room inside to light a candle; I used a tea light candle but this would easily hold a votive candle as well. The lantern glows nicely and reflects green hues on the wall behind it, which is just what I was looking for to fill/light up a darker corner in my living room. I subtracted one star because the loop at the top does not stand upright on its own.Note - I have these lanterns atop of a wine cooler, which is not 100% level (they look somewhat crooked in the photo). ... so I bought 5. I bought red, yellow, blue and green in this basic style & size. I also bought a purple one in a different style which I reviewed separately.They are small, but they are only advertised at 10 1/4" tall. It is the glass inserts that presented my biggest complaint: about 2 1/2" tall by 1 1/4" wide --very small (smaller than a standard buisness card). However, I had no issues with damage on arrival. I had no issues with faulty craftsmanship. I had no issues with rust or other damage to the finishes. I intend to use these outside hanging from the trees around our patio for spots of color at night. For that purpose --and at this price --- I think they will work exceptionally well. I have not tried them yet, and I imagine the glass color will fade with a candle behind it. The "red" one is really more of a hot pink to begin with. The green one looks to have the deepest color, so it might retain more color when lit. And it might be I can get more color with a flameless LED candle (with whiter light) than a real tealight candle. Overall I am perfectly content with this purchase, and settled on "4" due exclusivley to the size of the glass panels.

I ordered one red, blue and green Moroccan candle holder lamps. They are very nice, especially for around $7. Was packaged very nice and secure. I had zero broken pieces as i opened the box. Only turn off is the big "Made in China" stamped on the box, but at this point, everything seems to be made in China. I was worried they would be junk at that point but was very pleased with the quality of each lamp. For the price and for what they are, its not a big deal to me. These lamps were about as tall as a 20 oz bottle of coke. Perhaps 3 times the width. I read many reviews about how small these are. While they aren't huge, i found them to be a nice size and a little bigger than i expected from certain reviews.They are nice for a hanging lamp, a centerpiece for your table or even a decent decoration for your deck or outdoor areas. They add a different style than the normal boring candle holders most of us have. I ordered a few just to make sure i liked them and now that i know, i will be ordering several more for my decks and living room. Adds some mood lighting for if you have a "lady friend" over to watch a movie. It's not distracting when you light a candle in it. It's just right.

It’s nice but it’s small and uneven and rather flimsy.

Haven't use the lanterns yet but very pleased with the way they look size is good will be useing as center pieces at my wedding

Smaller than I though it would be, but really cute. The glass on the inside of the lantern shifts, but I'm okay with that.
