Quality watercolor paper

I love using watercolor blocks because then I don't have to stretch the paper. The paper used in these is perfect, nice and strong, 140 pound. I recently bough five blocks so I can do several pieces at the same time, allowing each to dry before proceeding with the piece of art I am making.

I'd seen lots of reviews about this Fabriano Artistico paper and thought I'd try it. I got a 5x7 block.Ok, the texture. It's a bit smoother than Arches cold press paper which is fine. Even with a light wash, the paper buckled. It could be flattened out once removed off the block and something heavy placed on top, but I was surprised it buckled.My biggest issue is with applying or rather moving paint around. So once applying the watercolor, and let's say you want to soften an edge, I found it lifts the paint rather than blends. I just felt like I had to touch the already applied paint too much, which is not what I ever have to do with Arches.I wasn't overly thrilled with this paper and doubt I'd buy it again. I really wanted to love it, but not sure I even like it. It's Arches again for the win.

It is a really nice 100% cotton watercolor paper. Comparable to Arches, with a slightly smoother texture. Really good for ink+ watercolor line & wash.

The media could not be loaded.  The item have got deliver very late, ordered on Jan 7,2023 received on Jan22,2023 being a prime member didn't help at all! When I open the film covering the first sheet was dirty and the whole block came off from the backing right the way. The quality of the paper was great so I will not return for a refund.

This watercolor block takes the water easily. Absorbs and spreads color beautifully. The texture adds to the performance and quality of the paper.

Ottima per chi vuole provare una carta 100% cotone per vedere la differenza rispetto ad altri tipologie spendendo una cifra ragionevole, va bene anche per fare delle prove prima, per esempio, di cominciare qualcosa di più complesso o di dimensioni maggiori. Resiste bene all'acqua considerando la grammatura

Es un papel buenísimo que aguanta agua. Se comporta muy bien y este formato permite llevarlo a todas partes

Sehr schöner, hochwertiger Block von Aquarellpapier in einem handlichen Format. 100% Cotton. Fabriano hat mich noch nie enttäuscht. Sehr gut auch für unterwegs.
