poor product for the money
Wont hold a charge. Used laptop 3 times in battery mode. Bought in January, went to use it last week and had to use laptop plugged in.

This aftermarket battery does not last long between charging.
This battery according to the model number is the correct replacement however, it is subpar to the original battery. The original battery lasted at least 8 hours between charging. This battery lasts less than half that time. I cannot recommend it.

Gave my laptop a new lease on life.
I'm very happy with this product because my laptop which was not holding a charge at all now works well. The price was great and other than a bit of hassle to install everything about this works really well. The fault is not the product the fault is my laptop which requires 10 screws to get inside to where the battery is. Once you get the back cover off though this battery went in with a minimum of fuss. You also need to run it all the way down three times before you start using it normally with a combination of battery and plugging it in. This conditions it so that you get the maximum life from this battery.

Tanch AP19B5L Laptop Battery Replacement for ACER Aspire 5
This is the perfect replacement for my Acer Aspire 5. With the proper tools, replacing the battery was much easier than expected. The battery life thus far has been exceptional, basically restoring my laptop to new. I haven't had an technical issues so far, and am very pleased with this battery at the moment.
