Thought I would have to use the included screws but no adhesive is strong

These have been awesome. They have held up in crazy Texas storms with no issues at all. They are very easy to install and just require a short time where you stick them up before you put the camera on (sort of like a command strip).

Easy to install, provide great flexibility for installing cameras. Adhesion is good but better to use screws as well to insure it stays in place over time. Time will tell how durable the mount is.

I wanted a mount for inside of my window sill to place my stick up ring camera and it worked perfect. I wanted my camera inside pointing to front of my porch area/house/and vehicle and this did the job. It is very adjustable.

These mounts are what the Ring should come with. They allow better placement and shooting angle. I don't bother with the adhesives, knowing they'll fail eventually so I can't say how good or bad they are. I just spent a few more minutes and used the included screws.

I bought this to stick a Ring camera on a tile surface without having to drill holes. If you plan on doing that, my advice is to peel off the fake VHB that comes with it. It's called "VHBowen," some kind of 3M knockoff. Buy some REAL 3M VHB and you will not have any problems with this falling down. You will probably break the plastic before you rip real 3M VHB apart.Other major issue is the ball joint slips like crazy and you really have to tighten it to get a camera to point where you want. I would really recommend against using this with a heavier camera such as a Spotlight Pro, there is no way it will keep it pointing in the right direction unless you are pointing it straight down at the ground. You can fix this by putting carbon grip paste on the ball joint, but if you don't use grip paste you may have slippage problemsTime will tell how this thing does under UV exposure.
