I bought this as a gift and the person has used it today for the first time as a last tidy as there’s been no rain. I’ve never used Flymo before but my mum liked them due to the weight. If you want a scalped lawn and a mower that flattens the grass to mud then this is for you. One of the cable tidy brackets is missing from the box and the instructions are for a completely different mower. Sadly I missed the returns window by 2 days but it’ll be the last Flymo product I buy. Also the black cable is really hard to see. Wish I could’ve given zero stars.

Really appreciated this product as I had to return mower from different company ( bit cheaper) but difficult to assemble.Upon opening the box, was pleased to see that the wheels were already attached and I just had to put the handles together. Size was just right for my garden and weight wise not too heavy.Can only comment on the performance based on the one day I have used it. It was easier to manoeuvre and cut quality was good.My four star is based on the fact that I have used it only once as yet.

Easy to assemble. It's ok for small lawns . Cuts well enough but small grass box which has to be emptied a lot. Nice and light so easy to push and turn. Too small for our lawns but bought to quickly (next day) replace our old mower which died. Cheap and cheerful if you don't have high expectations. Build quality is typical of Flymo so a bit flimsy all round. Height adjustment is a bit of a pain but it works. No frills here.
