Two years ago, I bought four of them for our little restaurant. They still work perfectly even after such an intense use. I just wish the temperature control had more steps: sometimes you find yourself either over boiling or just barely simmering a pan of sauce, but you can get used to it and learn how to cope with it. Great value!PS: actually, one stopped working after a few months, but I immediately got a new one under warranty with no problem at all.

The only qualm is that it is hard to simmer an item as it does not go low enough

I read about the fan noise issue in other reviews, but still decided to give it a go. However: it took me less than one minute of testing to decide to return this item immediately. The fan noise is faaaar too loud.On top of that, one minute of boiling a bit of water resulted in more than 5 minutes of fan noise, long after the device was switched off.It is a real shame, since the cooker seems otherwise really decent. Solid build quality, not too large, not too heavy, and easy to operate.The fan is a real design flaw, and most likely caused by the attempt to minimize production costs.Stay away from this product - buy a different brand instead.

Really simple and easy to use. Water boils almost instantly in pan. Care with soups or food products so I start with the low 60’, stir and slowly raise or lower the temp. A little practice and perfect results.

Too noisy.

Heats up pans incredibly fast, easy to use touch controls, the fan is a little loud but i'd rather that than it break down every 5 mins.

I bought it as I was going away this weekend for a long weekend I used it once but was not sure if it was working right the second time I used it so meshing went on with the controls next thing I knew it was not working luckily my friends allowed me to use their cooking facilities
