It would have gotten maybe a 4 if it had not been for me finding a hair in the bag. I was ordering another brand off of Amazon, but they didn't have prime this time around and so I decided to try out Gerbs. I wasn't extremely happy when it arrived because the bag it came in was a bit dirty and it just seemed like a low budget product, but I was used to the other brand I was ordering, the packaging was great and the product. After I tasted them they were very good. I transferred them into a regular ziploc bag, because I still didn't like the dirty bag and all was well, until a few days into eating them, there was a short hair that I found, and that really turned me off. I could have possibly said it belonged to me but I have curly hair and not straight. So unfortunately, I don't think I will purchase again. They are good though.

I was ordering some dried blueberries for my mom and wife to use in their oatmeal. The packages from the store are tiny and expensive. I thought that maybe I could find some online that were a better deal and maybe more wholesome. I am really impressed with this company. The blueberries are huge and very flavorful. A lot of the nutrition gurus say to eat a cup of berries a day and I think this would be an excellent company to go with. I like to buy fresh but honestly, they are too pricy even when they are in season and you never know if they are tasty or bland. I am also a big fan of their pumpkin kernels. Really hope this company continues to prosper. Happy eating and reading.

These have literally no flavor. It's like eating cardboard. I was so excited to use these in muesli and snacks, but we ended up throwing them out. Seriously, no flavor at all. Bummed. p

I have tried multiple brands of dried blueberries, even some from Whole Foods and Sprouts. These are the first ones that I have reordered because the have the best flavor and are still nice and soft, even when refrigerated, which you will need to do after opening. I share with my dogs and they think they are pretty special when they get these. The price is reasonable and I can order a bigger bag, which I chose to order 4Pounds this time!!

As Advertised Banana Chips Unsweetened Gerbs.The people who make complaints about this don't know what they are talking about. This is my first purchase of these. I wanted unsweetened and that's what I got - totally bland. I would have thought they would have had natural sweetness but they were probably cut up when not ripe yet which would be my only complaint because naturally these would have had some natural sweetness (but during the frying process maybe the natural sugar dissipates-I don't know, so now that you know that then buy the sugar sweetened type if you want sugar flavor. The do have a slight oil taste because they are fried not dried. So if you want taste sugar over bland then don't buy these etc. I really don't care, would I buy sweetened next time probably but I am trying to avoid excess sugars or try another brand who cuts their bananas when they are ripe so it will have some nature sugar.These came in fresh, good packaging, crisp but not hard like others have said. This is an unbiased review and I usually write reviews of products that I buy from amazon to give people my honest opinion and especially there are a lot of erroneous untruthful reviews going around of people saying things that are not true or just people unnecessarily contradicting what the product description says. Don't believe everybody's reviews but mine in truthful and unbiased without interjecting my opinion. Gerbs makes a good product here for unsweetened banana chips!

Okay so I got a bad batch, it happens, I understand but these were black ringed and looked like mold but at the time of processing not after the fact. The package was okay, not leaking air or anything..the fruit itself was bad when dried..so..that really bothered me.

Ordered this for the 3rd time. The first time we got this, it was amazing. The flavor was fresh and aromatic and tasted like bananas. The second time we ordered this, it tasted flat and not like bananas but just coconut oil. We were really bummed out about it because we were looking forward to it being like the first batch we got. Which is why we reordered! I decided to give this item one more try and it came in today. Opened the bag up and smelled nothing like bananas.... The taste was just like the second one. Just coconut oil. Really sad about this purchase and the reason why I gave it another shot because it's hard to find banana chips without so many additives. I ate 5 pieces and none of them had the taste of bananas. Really sad... The first package really got us. I feel like we got baited and switched for some subpar old inventory bag.

Yes, these are NOT your perfect plump yellow sugar coated plastic looking sweetened pineapple candy chunks you typically find. Rather, these are the real thing, real pineapple that has been dried, but not too much, without any sweeteners added. They are chewy but soft enough to be enjoyable, and the flavor is what one would expect from real natural fruit.

They're good, but a bit overly sweet, I though they tasted like over-sweetened raisins to be honest, which makes sense when you consider these berries are soaked in cane sugar. If they were cheaper I'd get more, but at this price point I'm going to be buying raisins and skip the extra sugar.

Being unsweetened is very good but the chips definitely lack crunch and flavor. In fact, some of them are so hard but the inside feels a bit mushy and I could feel oil oozing out of the them. Definitely not a healthy choice. Baked or dehydrated chips would probably be better. It’s also expensive in my opinion. I wish there was a smaller package I could have purchased for trial. Definitely wasted money here.

GREAT BUY!! you can tell these are un sweetened but their still a great way to enjoy banana chips- actually better because there is none of that unhealthy sugarcane/ there guaranteed natural! these came on time, they are a good cost, you certainly get lots of them.. you want a healthier ulternative to those sugar coated banana chips!?- try these ones.-you wont be disappointed...

You would think that unsweetened wouldn’t be that bad they are bananas but no they did not taste good at all. It’s like the sweetness that bananas have was stolen from these. :(

Taste fresh! Tho as they are unsweetened they do taste pretty plain, a little stevia and sea salt will do the trick ;)
