Space Walk (Lift-the-Flap Adventures)

My 16 month old son loves this book. We have the deep sea dive book by the same author and it is a favorite of his so we wanted to try another. This one keeps his attention and he loves the flaps. The only thing im not sure about is they dont include pluto.... still a great book, I do recommend.

My son likes to lift up the pages. Only thing that would make it better would be if they said more about each planet. For example with Neptune, it says its the last planet in the Solar System, time to go home. Still a good introductory book to the Solar System.

very cute book! it was a lot bigger than I expected it to be, i guess i pictured a smaller toddler board book. the flaps are softer paper, not hard, but they're nicely laminated. it is a book which just has the 8 planets. i was hoping it would have more about rockets and space shuttles, but it's nice for what it is. vibrant colors and my 2 yr old seems to like it.

Got this for my 4-year-old who loves rockets and space and is still really into lift-the-flap books. He likes it well enough and has asked for it a few times for night-time reading. It's a quick read, just a couple of minutes.

It’s a big hit with my grandkids!

I was looking for a book about space or the solar system with flaps for my then seven month old daughter and found this board book. It is large and thin. I think overall that it is a bit boring. Most of the pages feature a planet with a flap that opens to show a detail of that planet. The illustrations are mediocre and quite monotonous between the planets. My daughter ended up tearing one of the flaps; she has many flap books that are much more frequently read and still in good condition so I would say this one is on the fragile side. The cover is cute and sparkly. I was hoping for a more engaging book, and will keep my eyes out for a good space book for babies.

My son loves all things related to outer space. This is a great book for a 2 1/2 year old. I read in one review that the pages were not sturdy enough for toddlers. My little guy is pretty rough on books, and it's holding up just fine! It is NOT a board book, and some of the pages are showing use, but that's what books are for!

I wanted to like this book a lot. It has a good rhyming scheme for toddlers and covers the eight planets in our solar system. Its illustrations are simple and colorful--I like that when one lifts up the flap there is a little window into what the surface of the planet looks like. My major issue with the book is due to its incredibly low level of content (the book can be read cover to cover in under a minute) and the flimsy design of the flaps. I had hoped that by purchasing a board book, it would be sturdy enough to withstand the abuse of a toddler, but that is not the case. However, if you have an older toddler, then this book is a good (albeit simple) primer on the planets!

Very nice and easy to understand book. My 4 year old still pulls it out occisionally.

This book is up to date (no Pluto) and has simple rhymes and colourful pictures my toddler loves it.Excellent learning tool too.

This book is great. I thought it would be just a little story but it's a great first book on space. I bought it for my two year old. Good quality, bright and fun with lift the flaps!

My son is 31/2 and really into space. I had a hard time finding a book that was right for his age. He loves this book, it's one of his favourite books.

My granddaughter loves this book so much. She is three years old and she had it memorized in days after getting it. She reads it to us. She knows all the planets' names now.
