Okay but a little rough around the edges
Amazon delivery was first class, well packaged, fast and tracking provided.The Jockey wheel itself is strongly made from heavy gauge tube and I would say it's better than medium duty and will do the job.However:- The reason I only give 3 stars is because it was very rough around the edges.I will explain, the bottom of the inner and outer tubes are rough sawn leaving sharp burrs and with bare unprotected metal. Also the winding mechanism felt a little rough.I considered returning but decided to strip it down and grease the thread and bearing which improved it. I also filed the sharp rough burrs off and sprayed the unprotected steel with zinc primer to prevent premature rusting.I considered returning but didn't have time to wait for a replacement or have the hassle involved.
