Musbury Fabrics White Goose Feather and Down Pillow Anti-Allergy (Each)

Although they are genuinely lovely pillows they smell.It is a pungent smell , which in the current hot weather has been ovetbearing.I followed the advice of another buyer and tumble dried them with fragrent sheets.I have now washed them twice, but the smell still persists.Anyone have an idea as to fully resolve the matter ?

I read the reviews before buying, but it's always s hard to gauge. It arrived beautifully crisp, puffy but supportive, and I had a lovely night's sleep. However, after two or three nights, a sickly smell began to waft up, like a sweaty chicken shed - I know. By day 5, it filled my whole home. I spent 2 hours in the laundrette - but no change. Hardly worth returning - it was so reasonable. But it's shut in my washing machine covered in salt, until I can think of what to do.Uodate: I am throwing it away tomorrow. I may risk opening it up to see why it pongs so bad. Watch this space.

Like another reviewer I stayed at Hotel Du Vin and had a great night's sleep due to the pillow. Next day I checked out the label so I could order one for myself. Item arrived on time ,well packaged and it is great. So glad I ordered it.

Lovely pillow.Admittedly they do smell which is off putting, however, if you put them in the tumble drier a couple of times on the airing programme together with a tumble drier sheet the odour disappears and they are fine.

Pretty bad product that smells like a dead chicken in putrefaction. Had to throw it away the first night as the smell had already spread across the entire flat.

Finally - a soft but supportive pillow which doesn't leave me with a stiff neck and a headache in the morning. I found these pillows during a stay in the Hotel du Vin in York, and was so impressed I photo'd the label and Googled them when I came home.

Very disappointed. Pillow looks nice and full but when used it flattens very quickly.Reason why I ordered it was I slept at the Malmasion and fabulous pillow. So I looked what the make was and ordered.Very poor which is a shame.

Very comfortable & value for money.
