When we moved into this rental, the place was extremely infested with earwigs, house centipedes, SPIDERS, and all kinds of other multi eyed/legged creatures. We managed to clean up a bit of a bugs on the inside with multiple fog treatments (I have a review up on the fogger we used as well) and consistently cleaning up, however bugs were still getting in through the old windows and holes that lead to whatever cracks that are out of our eyeshot. We recently got work done and ants managed to make hole in the poor patch up job. This spray definitely did the trick and three months later we still see a dramatic decrease in the amount of bugs in the house. It was also easy to use, I would just suggest a sprayer that completely cuts off when not in use to prevent dripping and wasting product but other than that LOVE IT.

Couldn't go without this! If you spray a good layer around your doorways and windows no bugs will get in. They die once they cross the path of where you've sprayed. Everytime! I use it inside and outside. It kills spiders and a hundred other pests including ants on the spot within seconds, but also lasts for honestly more than six months even with rain. ( It claims a year. I respray every year so not sure, but at least 6 months minimum) It's safe for kids and pets, once it's dry, which is a must. The sprayer is fantastic. Two different widths of spray and a very long reach. The bottle and wand lock so it's safe to store. Half a bottle can do my entire home inside and out. I have been using this for years and it's still a mandatory piece in this arachnaphobic home.

It dries quickly and doesn’t leave behind any strong odor or sticky residue, which I really appreciate, especially with kids in the house.It’s been a few weeks since I first applied it, and it’s still keeping the bugs away. This is the first time I used a battery-powered spray jug. Wow! I love it. Is the battery-powered wand worth the extra money? I say YES. I can treat my entire house at a brisk pace, without the constant hassle of manually pressurizing the container. And, I get a more consistent application volume.I did not rate this product 5 stars because it did not provide instructions regarding battery replacement. When this jug is empty, I intend to purchase a more reasonably priced refill. I don't want the lifespan of this item to be determined by a battery.Also, my wand did not feature a "pinstream" option, for crack & crevice application. Instead, it offered two versions of "fanspray."Suggestion to Ortho: I don't need two "OFF" positions on the wand. Please add a "pin stream" option for indoor safety and neatness.

Had the unfortunate experience of bringing roaches home with the firewood is what got me started using this product . Highly effective . Will not clear roaches immediately with one application however it will clear them out of your house , I now use a twice a year maintenance program . This product has proven effective on ants also .My hom borders the woods so battling critters is part of life and Ortho contributes to the effort of keeping them out side very well and very coast effectively if you want to compare to paying the exterminator . With the built in battery operated sprayer the application i very easy and quickly accomplished with speed and precision

We recently bought a house and had a HUGE ant problem on both our front and back porches. My husband sprayed this around our house ONE time and I haven’t seen a single aunt since he sprayed 2 weeks ago. It was effective immediately and I am hoping we won’t need to spray again any time soon!
