Works great! This bag goes a loooong way, probably needed a quarter of this max to be honest. Great buy shared some with friends. Looks like real ambers .

The wool added realistic looking "embers" to our propane fireplace!They worked as described.

I don't know about value for the money, but having it work as expected is worth having it for sure. I distributed it around, in small amounts, over the burn plate. As the flames come up through the material it looks like burning coals. Good appearance. I closed up my unit and have been enjoying the view since. Recently I saw how I might be able to enhance the view by using a wire brush to flake off some of the material, over the fake logs, to help accentuate the appearance. I'll try it the next time I take the door off for cleaning the glass.

Beautiful glowing ambers, great value.

We bought this to help light and burn in our gas fireplace. It is very easy to rip into small pieces and to place along the burner. It catches very easy. They do fall off pretty easily so we have to check our burner each time we go to light it, but overall this works great.

I just overhauled our gas fireplace set up after a failed computer module replacement. What many reviewers say is true, a little of this stuff goes a long way. It looks great, and one bag will more than likely last you the life of your fireplace. I would definitely purchase it again, though I doubt I’ll live that long :-)

Product works, problem was the shipper pasted the shipping label over the descriptive instructional label. Should have been put on opposite side of bag.
