Best mouse for both work and gaming.
The best mouse I've ever owned. Main useful features that make this mouse stand out is the thumb rest which is perfectly designed for my hand and the infinite scroll wheel. The feel of clicking and the dpi settings are well made. The 4 white gliders are very nice and the mouse glides across my mousepad with ease.I threaded the cord through from under my monitor into my PC. There's a lot of cord length and it is braided nicely to the point that it feels essentially wireless. The only thing that could make this mouse better is the ability to change its weight like you can for some logitech gaming mice, but personally I got used to this weight very quickly, its not heavy but not insanely light either.Lastly, the only real difference between this mouse and the $200 counterpart is the "wireless technology", which for me the difference of cord vs no cord is non-existent for me (I will get near 0 latency when wired anyway!). Well worth the $40 I spent on it. Would buy again, 10/10

My favorite gaming mouse! 2 years and counting
This mouse is honestly a favorite for me! It was so good that ive purchased a second one after 2 years of use on the first one. This mouse is very comfortable for my hands which are relatively big and the mouse glides around smoothly on my mousepad. The side buttons always come in handy for mapping on games and the aiming button is super helpful if you play games like Fortnite or Apex. The freescroll button in the middle is wonderful when scrolling through long pages quickly, and the DPI button under the freescroll button is amazing for changing the speed of the cursor. I honestly love this mouse, with its great durability and absolute ease of use! Couldn't recommend another mouse other than this one!

Worlds best gaming mouse.
I bought a Basilisk V1 in March 2019, used it until Today, Jul 3rd 2025. With well over 5 million clicks the left mouse button finally started going out. Same day ordered the new Basilisk V3 and it is just as amazing, Clutch works perfect, and I really love how they changed the adjustment of the scroll wheel. Aswell as the two extra buttons for MMB Left and Right which is a button I never knew could exist. Razer fan for life. Also thanks for the stickers.

Gaming
I’ve been using the Razer Basilisk V3 for a few weeks now, and it’s hands down one of the best gaming mice I’ve owned. The ergonomics are spot on—super comfortable even during long gaming sessions. The customizable buttons are a huge plus, especially for FPS and MMO games. The RGB lighting looks amazing and adds a nice touch to my setup. The scroll wheel is incredibly smooth with great tactile feedback, and the sensor is lightning fast and accurate. Whether I’m gaming or editing, this mouse delivers top performance every time. Highly recommended for any serious gamer!

reliability issue
very disappointed, after a couple of months the mouse start to make weird noises when i turn on the PC, in games it switches by himself the weapon, item etc. as if the scroll wheel moves by himself, it wasn't like that before the weird noises started.it's very annoying and ruining the game experience.the Multi-Function Trigger is not long enough and it's comfortable to reach it.

Love the wheel, RGB and adjustable resolution.
I bought this to replace my Logitech MX Master that started going crazy with random clicking sounds. Wow! I’m so glad I did. This razor is so amazing! Lots of buttons, amazingly fast wheel, on-the-fly adjustable resolution and beautiful RGB. Really happy with it. The software is rather overwhelming though, lots and lots of profiles and modes.

Better than the G502 and it locally saves DPI settings on the mouse itself!
So far, I love this mouse! I also have the Logitech G502 and I like the feel and rubberized mouse wheel of this Basilisk V3 much better! I have small hands, but I prefer a mouse that isn't tiny because I grip too hard. I miss my old Logitech G400 mouse, but this Razer is a fantastic replacement! It also is a great value when on sale. I also like that it's lighter than the G502. Also, as an update, I liked this mouse so much that I've bought three of them so I can have them at work too! I've actually stopped using my Corsair Scimitar and switched to this Basalisk V3 since it feels so much smoother. If Razor would starting making the Naga again in wired, I'd buy that one as well.A huge plus for the Basalisk is that it can locally store DPI settings on the mouse itself without having to install the software on a secondary pc you may use, for example when using a work pc sometimes. Sadly it won't locally save light color choice, but if the changing colors bother you, you can dim the colors and it will save it locally on the mouse too.

Amazing mouse, wait for a sale
Amazing mouse. Has been working like a tank, It's hefty, but not too heavy. I love the lights, and its very ergonomic. Razer synapse is great and very intuitive. I dislike how they split up Synapse and Chroma in version 4. but you can always download version 3. Would highly recommend, but wait for a sale, because I got mine around $50
